The Job
Helpdesk/Desktop Engineer with strong Windows XP experience needed for a busy office. Must have a strong customer focused attitude. The role will involve supporting 80+ users from both our Boston and Dublin office. Job would include the following duties: creating new user accounts, PC/Image/Software Rollout, hardware support, printer support, application support etc. Chance to learn new technologies (Linux, Windows 2003 server etc)


Key Requirements:

- A good working knowledge of Windows XP\2000
- Good application knowledge (Office 2003\2007 & Outlook 2003\2007)
- Desktop rollout experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Customer focused.


Desirable attributes:

- Experience of using Ghost to build images
- Knowledge of networking concepts (IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
- Willingness to learn new technologies (Linux, Windows 2003 server etc)


Qualifications: Third Level Diploma


Minimum Experience required: 1 – 2 years
