Volunteers needed for furniture assembly!
2 week – 2 month commitment

This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the start up of the Dechen Shying
Spiritual Care Centre at Dzogchen Beara, Rigpa’s retreat centre in south west Ireland.

The Spiritual Care Centre is a home from home environment of peace and outstanding
natural beauty where people of all beliefs can come to rest, reflect and find meaning in life
and hope in death.

The construction on the building is complete and furnishings are on order. We anticipate
that furnishings will be delivered over the coming months, and most furniture will need
to be assembled! We need your help to open our doors to guests in the new year.


The ideal volunteer would have the following skills:

• Good DIY ability
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Practical approach to tasks
• Works well as part of a team
• Construction/building experience a plus


Accommodation and meals will be provided on site.
This is also a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful, inspiring environment at Dzogchen Beara.
