Lecturer: Five-Year Position in Computational
Science

The Department of Mathematical Physics is
seeking applications for a five-year full-time
lecturer in the area of Computational Science.
The successful applicant is expected to have a
strong research background in mathematical and
computational aspects of some field of natural
science and will be expected to actively
contribute to the Department's research
programme.

This position also involves a significant
teaching role in the newly established Graduate
Programme in Computational Science run jointly
with the Department of Computer Science.

Applicants are expected to have completed a PhD
degree at the time of appointment.

Applications are invited for 2 one-year full-
time contract positions as Assistant Lecturer in
Mathematical Physics. Applicants should have
completed a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics or
Theoretical Physics at the time of appointment.
The successful candidate will be required to
take part fully in the teaching and research
activities of the Department.

Unless otherwise indicated, appointments will be
made to be appropriate point of the relevant
scale in accordance with qualifications and
experience.
