Responsibilities
- Test planning.
- Specifying test scenarios for product testing.
- Test automation.
- Running comprehensive test suites on software releases.
- Writing test reports.
- Working with developers to identify and resolve problems.
- Mentoring more junior QA staff.
- Maintaining QA test lab - configuration, disk imaging, virtual machines etc.
- Supporting other departments' activities - including Support.

Essential skills
- Third level qualification in computer or business related discipline (with significant IT component).
- Good practical understanding of QA including performance, security and reliability testing.
- Database configuration - preferably Microsoft Sql Server.

Candidates should be highly proficient in the design and implementation of financial systems including user interface design, systems integration and have a thorough understanding of relational database principles and associated tools.

Candidates need to be team focused and able to work effectively with both fellow developers, other parts of the Input Systems organisation and customers.

Project Manager

As project Manager you will:

- Work one-on-one with customers, using your knowledge of the Origins software, creatively helping customers to resolve issues that impact their operations.
- Visit customers on site to perform support-consult services, discussing matters at the customer's management level.
- Work in project teams with colleagues from the Sales, Development and Consultancy departments.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest product, market and technological developments, to enhance your important advisory role in the use and implementation and support of the Origins Software
- Assist and mentor Customer Support colleagues, making quality contributions to the internal and external knowledge base in order to provide optimal information sources to customers, and colleagues
- Deal with escalations from both support & consultancy, according to escalation procedure, to ensure quality service to customers at all times.
- Carry out technical installs/consults
- Develop pro-active measures to improve the customer satisfaction rating
- Deliver additional support such as reporting, defining import definitions, central installations, migration of data, and technical support
- Inform proactively the implementations\customer support manager of escalating situations
- Develop and maintain relevant functional and technical knowledge of the Origins product and the related database management systems.
Essential Requirements
- Education to degree level, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in an ERP support environment, good familiarity with ERP implementation process.
