We (Sophis / Misys) are looking for REALLY good QA/Test Engineers, who're willing to gain or expand their experience in Financial Services industry and are motivated to study a lot and work hard for a good compensation.

Responsibilities of the role:
Gathering of business and technical specifications of the proposed system/module received from the business analysts
Execution of test plans is close collaboration with the development team
Initial preparation of test plans with business analysts and team leaders
Bug-tracking and following up fixes with developers
Testing bug fixes and the functional and technical aspects of solutions to ensure a high standard of quality is maintained

Skills and experience REQUIRED:
2-4 years tester experience;
Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Mathematics or associated discipline;
Knowledge of PC, Windows, MS Office;
Passion for quality and ability to find defects effectively.

Knowledge and hands on experience of the following is BENEFICIAL:
Oracle and SQL;
XML;
.Net framework;
Web services;
EnterpriseMessaging Systems – TIBCO, AMQ, MOM;
Websphere Application Server.

Some knowledge or experience of the following would also be a major ADVANTAGE:
Financial Markets, Investment, Trading, Accounting, Front Office, Back Office, Summit, Murex, Calypso.

Korvin, подойдёт нон-еу с Ирландскими (и не только) рекомендациями?

Если non-EU и нужна будет виза - человек должен соотвествовать 90% требований (см.выше, особенно важно про опыт/знание в финансах и/или инвестициях и/или фин-математика), быть очень хорошим тестером, иметь английский хотя бы на уровне 6-ки по IELTS и иметь железобетонную мотивацию работать именно в Ирландии и именно у нас... Если уверены в нём - попробуйте убедить меня (в личку с CV + covering letter).

Появилась вторая похожая вакансия в Back Office QA Team. Математика будет не так важна а вот опыт/знания/образование в Accounting and BackOffice operations - большой плюс.
