Обычно не нужна, в общем случае ставят штампик на 24 часа даже если разные аэропорты.
При прилёте из Дублина обычно штампик никто не ставит, ибо никто паспорт не проверяет.
Но бывают варианты и могут попортить нервы на предмет "а где ваша транзитная виза?". При этом что-бы кому-то просто так не поставили транзитный штампик я ещё не слышал.

Нет. Конечно, зависит от твоих обстоятельств. если ты не сможешь подтвердить, что имеешь право на въезд в Ирландию, то будут проблемы.

при пересадке в сторону Киева вообще нет паспортного контроля. в обратную сторону по предъявлению ирландской ре-ентри визы и билета, тебе поставят штамп на 24 часа.

cмотри официальную информацию про транзит без визы (Transit Without a Visa - TWOV) здесь. Я как-то пытался получить визу для транзита, но мне ее отказались делать.

The requirement to hold a visa is normally waived for passengers whose name does not appear on a watch list and who are travelling through the UK by air, and whose sole intention is to pass in transit through the UK (such passengers may travel by road or rail between 2 airports in the UK) if:
they have a confirmed booking on a flight departing within 24 hours to their country of destination;
they have the necessary documents (visa/passport) to gain entry at that destination, and transit visas for any country(ies) en route which require them.

Да не нужна виза. Сама летала так уже раз 10, через разные аэропорты (Хитроу, гатwик, станстед) Подходите, дайете паспорт и билет на следующий рейс, ставят штамп на 24 часа и все. Летала так уже и со штампом 1 (по пермитам) и со штампом 4. Проблем никогда не было, только 1 раз спросили какой город является столицей Беларуси и пропустили
