В продолжение спам-темы (на которую я не успел ответить) "Очередная пирамида или огромный потенциал" вчера вышла статья об ирландском онлайн шоппинге.

Internet sales hit ?2.2bn as more Irish shop online
IRISH people spent an incredible ?2.13billion online last year. Women were unsurprisingly the highest spenders, with one in every four spending more than ?1,000 online in 2009.
The average Irish shopper now spends ?1,450 per year online, figures released by Visa Europe show.
Of course, we are all working extremely hard to earn the money we spend… the averageworker spends 55 hours per year browsing for or buying goods on the internet between 9am and 5.30pm, the equivalent of more than one working week per year.
More than half of us shop online because we cannot buy certain items in Irish stores, and the same number also believe they can save up to 30 per cent on online purchases that can be found in shops.
‘People are turning to the internet for all types of purchases,’ said Conor Langford of Visa Europe.
‘Whether it’s booking cinema tickets for a simple treat or buying flights for a much-needed escape, consumers are shopping online because it’s convenient and secure.’
Flights and holidays are Ireland’s most popular online purchase, with 83 per cent of people having purchased one or the other in 2009.
Entertainment tickets were the second most popular purchase, with two-thirds of shoppers going online to buy them, while DVDs, CDs and video games were the third most popular items.
Mr Langford said shoppers are more informed about internet security.
Some 88 per cent of online shoppers claim they are confident the internet retailer they are buying from is reputable and reliable, and 80 per cent say they know what security features to look for on websites.
‘Apart from the competitive choice offered by internet retailers, we are also seeing consumers shop online because they feel more confident about using their payment card in that environment,’ he said.
However, he added that just 62 per cent of shoppers know what their consumer rights are when shopping online, and urged people to research their rights if in doubt.
