ST. PETERSBURG BALLET THEATRE return to The Helix in Dublin on 28 November – 1 December, where they will perform The Nutcracker & The Sleeping Beauty.

The talented young company from St Petersburg continues to grow in stature and reputation. Prima Ballerina Irina Kolesnikova was a recent guest artist in the Stars of the 21st Century Gala at the Thêatre Champs Elysées where she danced Scheherazade for the first time. The company of 100 artists including a 38-piece orchestra celebrated its twelfth anniversary last November and almost 100,000 people bought tickets during their last tour.

SPBT’s prestigious touring schedule has helped to attract some outstanding new talent from the pool of dancers that continue to emerge in St. Petersburg. The company welcomes new principals and character dancers this year: Marina Melnikova and Markar Gugasiyan, also Alexander Yakovlev and Svetlana Bekk from Vaganova. SPBT are delighted to announce that Alexander Kurkov, former principal dancer with the Mariinsky (Kirov) Ballet, has joined the company as a coach. Company director Konstantin Tachkin says “We are delighted that Mr Kurkov has joined us. He is an excellent coach and admires our dancers so I am sure he will work very well with them, especially with this season's new dancers.”

возьму на себя смелость: рекомендую сходить ... к нам едет Колесникова - балерина высшего класса, фактура и ноги - не горюй. там такая техника и душа при танце - это смотреть надо, передать невозможно.

не знаю как в Хеликсе - не была, но в любом случае, балет не смотрят с первых пяти рядов ...

Смотря как зал спланирован. По карте ничего не понятно Тоже там не была и тоже про билетик думаю

В том то и дело, что по карте не совсем понятно. Выглядит слишком бальшим - типа Концертный зал "Россия". Конечно понятно там балконы, там типа партер, только все равно трудно представить ) Муж сказал, что место не очень приспособленное для таких мероприятий. И я в думках. А очень хочется.
