Subject: Re: certificate of registration fee and period of validity

Dear Sir/Madam,

I wish to formally forward this letter to the office of Ch/Supt Martin
McLaughlin in relation to the fee paid for the certificate of
registration for non nationals who reside in State on foot of a work
permits.

My name is and I have been
recently issued with a 3 year work permit. In line with the
Immigration Act 2004 (Registration Certificate Fee) I have been
requested to pay ?100 for a certificate of registration; however, the
aforementioned certificate is only issued for a period of 12 months,
despite the length of the work permit.

I have reviewed the legislation governing the issue of the cards and
these are to be given for the duration of the leave of remain, i.e.
the length of study or employment. The latter is my case.

In the light of the above, without the prejudy to the
Immigration Officer, I ask you to instruct xx Garda Station
to continue allowing to issue certificates of registration for the
duration of the work permit, i.e. 2 or 3 years.

The GNIB have been instructed by the Department of Justice, Equality & Law Reform to issue work permit holders an immigration card for a period of one year at a time regardless of the expiry date of the work permit. Пошлют на год. Надо было сразу писать в Джастис. ГНИБ вообще ничего не решает.

Кстати молоток напиши в джастис на имя министра я тут недавно состряпал комплаин о том что я живущий в Ашборне не имею права рагистрироваться в в Дублин оффисе ну и про срок и фи тоже. Мне прислали официальнай ответ что мой комплаин передан надлижащему лицу и дали Реф номер через месяцок закину удочку

Ответ из ГНИБа типовой - мне точно такой же прислали в ответ на те же вопросы. А Джастис, кстати, назад в ГНИБ отправляет. Вот такой вишис серкл.
