Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Vacant Assistant Accountant role within the EMEA finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, and working closely with the Financial Controller, the role involves participation in the critical areas of monthly and quarterly reporting, revenue recognition, cash management, statutory reporting and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilites:

* Month-end accounting and reporting for local entities.
* Preparation of individual entity statutory accounts and management of local annual audit process.
* Preparation of entity tax returns and responsibility for tax compliance.
* Review of customer contracts to determine appropriate revenue recognition.
* Cash management and forecasting.
* Business partner with sales and services organisations
* Participation in ad hoc projects


Qualifications and Requirements:

* Recently Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)


Desirable Experience:

* Software industry experience an advantage.
