Key Purpose of Job
Globoforce is seeking a Web Developer who will have responsibility for implementation and design of graphical and front-end development work.

They will work in conjunction with other team members to design and deliver graphics for our client platforms, to maintain and develop our front-end web platform and to support other company initiatives related to web design and image production.


Main Responsibilities

• Graphics production for use in delivering and maintaining client solutions on our web platform.

• Design for new client sites and marketing promotional materials.

• Develop client-side prototypes and offline demonstration sites for the Sales team.

• Support web design and development projects and requests for internal departments.

• Work on various projects related to the ongoing front-end development of the Globoforce platform.

Key skills / experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years experience

• Required packages: Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver & Flash

• Strong understanding of colour theory, layout and design principles

• Proficiency in HTML, scripting, CSS, and cross browser/platform compatibility issues

• Candidate must operate to coding standards and have strong problem solving capabilities

• Attention to detail

• Experience working with a team with both onsite and offsite members

• Strong interpersonal Skills

• Strong documentation Skills (MS Word)

• Self Starter

• Adaptable

• Experience with Database technologies

• Experience with Software Configuration Management technologies (e.g. CVS, Subversion)
