Vhi Healthcare, in partnership with The Well, has set up Dublin’s 1st urgent care centres. You can now have minor injuries and illnesses dealt with swiftly at the new Vhi SwiftCare Clinics.
All patients are assessed by one of our medical practitioners on arrival and it is their aim to ensure that your minor injuries or illness is dealt with within 1 hour!

Anyone can use the facilities, not just Vhi members.

What type of conditions CAN be treated?
Minor injuries or illness that requires treatment ASAP. For example:

Sprains or possible breaks
Minor burns
Cuts that may need a stitch
Minor eye & ear conditions
Acute sports injuries
General medical problems such as sore throat
or back pain that can't wait until your family doctor is available

What type of conditions that CANNOT be treated?

Vhi SwiftCare Clinics cannot treat medical emergencies. Treatments for these types of conditions should be at hospital emergency departments where appropriate. For example:

Chest pain
Moderate to Severe breathing difficulty
Acute & severe stomach pain
Severe burns
Loss of consciousness
Pregnancy related conditions
Major Fractures
Any problem with a child less than 1 year

If you find yourself in need of emergency care you should dial 999.

How much does it cost?

Initial consultation is ?95.
Further treatment or tests incur the following charges:

X-ray ?70
Blood test ?30 - ?50
Stitches ?50 - ?60
Plastering ?50
Orthopedic Consultant Consultation (by appointment only) ?90

Payment:

Cash, Laser, MasterCard, Visa or cheque.

Vhi Healthcare Members Note:

Vhi Healthcare members are entitled to the same benefits that their Plan currently provides under GP visits, Physiotherapy visits and the Schedule of GP Surgical Procedures.


Opening hours:

Vhi SwiftCare Clinics are open from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year.

They are located opposite the Dundrum Town Centre, directly above the Balally Luas station and at Dublin City University, Collins Avenue.

Удобно то, что они открыты с 8 утра до 10 вечера, даже в выходные.

По крайней мере, на всякий пожарный, телефончик их иметь удобно.

Кстати, я по телефону у них консультировалась пару раз. Очень милая тетечко долго (но не нудно!) мне все рассказывала, никаких там "Ой, ну это по телефону не об#ясниш, вы к нам приезжайте!"

Знакомые там были несколько раз. Остались довольны: очередь маленькая, вечером они ка-то ездили, так вообше никого не было. все оперативно, при этом толково.

я тоже слышала очень хорошие отклики о них. моим друзьям консультация стоила 80 евро, но это за два приема - первый и повторный (контрольный), так что по цене получается тоже, что и поход к ГП, но оперативнее и во внеурочные часы.

мы уже несколько раз пользовались их услугами. того отделения, которое в Дандруме. каждый раз прием стоил 80 евро плюс отдельная плата за рентген, прививку и другие доп. услуги.

для "носителей" страховки VHI - какая-то скидка.

Очередей никогда не было. Принимали быстро.
