Я два раза был в этом году на www.mtug.ie ивентах первый про SОА и второй про WFP/E. Впервые поситил ивенты от мискрософта, и могу сказать что было интересно, особенно на первом. Скажите кто нить ходит на них с форума, было бы хорошо после ивента обсудить услышенное за пинтой пива. И скажите какие еще айти комьюнити есть в Дублине, меня интересуют технологии микрософт и Agile методологии.

Я слышал гугл устраивает семинары, но они полузакрытые вход по пригласам, как про них узнать?

а следующие евенты не так уж и близко. но может и решусь поехать в Корк или лимерик.

In this presentation, you'll learn the ins and outs of AJAX, its power and its shortcomings. There'll be some code but, more importantly, there'll be a look at some of the design challenges that AJAX presents.



AJAX is a powerful tool. In the wrong hands, it can wreak havoc on a site's interaction design. In the right hands, it can be a great aid to usability.



About the Keynote Speaker:

Jeremy Keith is a web developer living and working in Brighton, England.

Working with the web consultancy firm Clearleft, Jeremy enjoys building accessible, elegant websites using the troika of web

standards: XHTML, CSS and the DOM.



He is the author of DOM Scripting: Web Design with JavaScript and the Document Object Model published by Friends of Ed and more recently, Bulletproof Ajax published by New Riders Press.



Jeremy is a member of the Web Standards Project where he serves as joint leader of the DOM Scripting Task Force. His online home is adactio.com.



When he's not building websites, Jeremy plays bouzouki in the alt.country band Salter Cane. He is also the creator and curator of one of the Web's largest online communities dedicated to Irish traditional music, The Session.
