Солитер может заверить только то, что это ТВОЕ СЛОВО. А не то, что они родились там-то тогда-то (ибо об этом у него сведений кагбэ нет).

Формально - можно. Реально - я на днях попробовал, получил еггог мессагу. Пришлось звонить телефоном - прислали сразу.

У нас ни одного свидетельства о рождении род.не просили.Просто заполнили и адвокат поставила подьпись и печать.

Эти с 2005го года, можно и в 2008ом прыться если очень надо. Вот что министр говорит:

Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform (Deputy Dermot Ahern): Section 18(2) of the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 1956 states that “A certificate of naturalisation shall be in the prescribed form and be issued on payment of the prescribed fee, and notice of issue shall be published in the prescribed manner in Iris Oifigiúil”. The prescribed manner is as set out in S.I No. 216/1956. It must include the name of the person naturalised, their address, the date of the certificate and whether the person was of full age or a minor. The on-line availability of Iris Oifigiúil is not a matter which falls within the remit of my Department.

The current processing time for applications for certificates of naturalisation is approximately 28 months.

И какие 28-м месяцев, если те, кто подали в May 2006 и чьи документы сейчас только-только берут в руки, УЖЕ на сегодняшний день ждут 29-й месяц?? Министр математику в школе явно не любил

Just received approval yesterday through registered post. I applied at the end of Septermber 2005, based on 5 year working permit. Was asked for updated bank statement around beginning of September08.

Want to share my happiness with u . I got my Irish naturalization approval letter today.

- Applied on Nov 15 2005 based on 5 years stay in Ireland
- Got a letter reqesting the marriage n birth affidivits in May 2008 and I sent them all in May 2008.
- Got an approval letter today (16 Oct 2008)

На каком этапе запрашиваются справки из гарды, налоговой и тд. - до того как апликейш попадает к министру (т.е. до статуса "your application is with minister's office"), или после?

У министра в офисе никто не будет разбираться со справками

Министру только приносять бумажку чтобы он там шлёпнул печать/подпись.
Ему сотни таких бумажек в день приносят. Я сомневаюсь что он там даже что-то читает.

Changes in the law

The Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 2001 contains significant provisions which affect the circumstances of persons who wish to obtain Irish citizenship on foot of marriage to an Irish citizen or through naturalisation. These provisions came into operation on 30 November 2002.

The changes which came into effect on that date mainly affect you if you –
Marry an Irish citizen on or after that date, and intend to apply for Irish citizenship on foot of this marriage, or
Think you are eligible to apply for a certificate of naturalisation after that date.
