RE-ENTRY VISA OFFICE
The re-entry Visa Office at 13/14 Burgh Quay has
transferred from the Department of Foreign Affairs
to the Irish Naturalisation & Immigration Service
(INIS), Department of Justice, Equality & Law
Reform.
The following arrangements now apply.
• Public Office opening hours -
8.30 am to 2.30 pm.
• Visa helpline opening hours - 10.00 am to 12.30
pm, Monday - Friday inclusive (excluding
Public and Bank holidays) at the following
numbers:

• Postal applications for re-entry visas will be
processed within 4 working days of receipt and
the re-entry visa returned by registered post to
the applicant.
From 1st February, 2006 payments in the form of
Bank Drafts or Postal Orders (made payable to the
Department of Justice, Equality & Law Reform)
only will be accepted. Cash or personal cheques
will not be accepted with any applications from
that date.
Applications for re-entry visas should be made
well in advance of the proposed dates of travel.
Postal applications (registered post is
recommended) should be forwarded to the
