We’re are looking for c.6 Snr Java Developers who have a background in banking/financial systems development to develop the next generation Financial Services software systems. The Client, based in Dublin City Centre, has a number of openings for experienced Java and J2ee developers to join the expanding Core product Development and Maintenance teams. These positions would suit a senior level developer with 6 years + experience and potentially offers the opportunity to continue a career path to Technical Architect level if this is what you are looking for.

Technical Experience to be highlighted in your CV would be:

A minimum of 5-6 yrs+ solid development experience
Experience developing multi-tier enterprise object-oriented applications
Strong knowledge Java and J2ee Development background
Experience developing Middle and Back office systems within the financial or Banking sector (A Bonus)
Good experience Application Servers such as Oracle App. Server, WebSphere & WebLogic – JBoss, Clearcase
Other major pluses would be -

· JSP

· Java Database Connectivity (JDBC)

· Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB)

· Java Servlet

· PL/SQL

· XML

· Hibernate

Snr Technical Arch/Lead Developer

Java, J2EE, Design, Weblogic, Hibernate, Web Services, EJB, JMS, JDBC, JSP, OOA, OOD, OOP, XML, Spring, Struts, Ant, Clearcase,

Essential skills:

- Minimum 6 - 7 years of IT Experience with a minimum of 3 years in analysis/design of software systems in J2EE/Java platforms

- Java 3+ yrs programming

- 3+ yrs Design & Development

- 2+ yrs Object Orientated Analysis and Programming

- Experience in developing multi-user, multi-threaded applications to run within Java EE Application Servers such as Oracle App. Server, WebSphere & WebLogic

- Extensive Apps server experience



Desirable skills:

- Hibernate / Web services

- EJB / JMS / JDBC / JSP

- OOA / OOD / OOP / XML

- Spring / Struts / Ant / Clearcase

- Project Management experience

- Previous experience working within a Financial Product development environment
