Dublin commuters face disruption
Надеюсь все уже в курсе:
Thousands of bus passengers face disruption tomorrow due to an industrial dispute at Dublin bus. Dublin Bus has said that 36 bus routes in north Dublin will be either cancelled or disrupted tomorrow as a result of proposed industrial action by drivers. The company said it regrets the action by the drivers which will affect more than one in ten of its passengers. The main areas affected will be Finglas, Swords, Ballymun, Blanchardstown, Donabate, Portrane, Dunboyne, Little Pace, Tyrrelstown, Damastown, Portmarnock, Kinsealy and Kilmore. There will be no service on 25 bus routes and a further 11 will only have a limited service. However SIPTU has rejected claims by Dublin Bus that disruption to services operating from Harristown depot tomorrow is inevitable. The Union says that it will only take industrial action if the company tries to implement the two new cross-city bus routes at the centre of the row. Both SIPTU and NBRU drivers voted in favour of industrial action on Friday. Management at Dublin Bus want drivers working the new routes to take their breaks in the city centre. The drivers say they want to take their rest periods at the Harristown Depot. Dublin Bus have advised customers to phone their information line on 01 873 4222
