Russian wins Dublin City Marathon
The 27th Dublin City Marathon has been won in a record time of 2.11:38 by Aleksey Sokolov.
The Russian broke the current record by more than one and a half minutes.
Over 10,000 people are taking part in the marathon and traffic restrictions are in place throughout the city.
The director of the event, Jim Aughney, said representatives from 60 countries are taking part.
