Senior Software Developer

Job Responsibilities
- Architectural Requirement Specification review and interpretation
- Contribution to product requirement specification
- Participates in the technical design and application of various technical approaches and technologies in product development efforts.
- Feature Design
- Design Use Case OO design methodologies using UML or similar technology incorporating design pattern strategies.
- Delivers Detail Design Documentation
- Feature Implementation
- Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
- Use SCM tools as part of build plans
- Writes development documentation and contributes to end user documentation.
- Work with Project and Program Management and contribute to the scheduling and planning exersises.
- Developing and creating software performance monitoring and tuning strategy
- Problem solving and trouble shooting
- Work cooperatively with cross-functional teams to ensure quality of product.

Job Skills
- Minimum 6 years experience of working in a software environment with project management.
- Expert knowledge of one of more of the following technologies Java, J2EE (JNDI/LDAP, JMS, JDBC, etc…), JBoss, Struts, Flex, JFC/Swing.
- Working knowledge of UNIX and NT
- Experience of UNIX shell scripting, Perl, XML is an advantage.
- You should have an excellent understanding of object-oriented software design and development.
- You should have a working knowledge of software configuration systems and of software lifecycles, management and quality measures.
- You should be able to work well in a team, and have strong interpersonal and communications skills.
