Job Title - Engagement Manager

Role description
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for suitably qualified senior candidates to operate in a fast paced environment and lead the delivery of a global project. The successful candidate will drive the development and implementation of the global rollout of company's proprietary dashboard. The candidate will be responsible for developing the analysis underlying the dashboard for each global region and delivering practical business and technical solutions to complex business requirements. The successful candidate will retain ownership for the dashboard post implementation.

Key tasks

• Ownership of the development of country specific dashboards
• Data analysis, ability to understand local/regional business requirements
• Communicating and explaining complex technical concepts and quantitative methods to a wide audience
• Develop deep understanding of company's Global Risk Insights Platform data and how it can be leveraged to provide value added insights to global insurance carriers
• Management of internal and external stakeholder relationships in the context of project deliveries
• Maintaining accurate and up to date status on all deliverables with effective communication of progress, risks and issues to management
• Special Projects/Interact with Global Business partners
• Participate in special projects and assignment to standardize processes across product lines and regions globally
• Be a change agent for continuously improving the operating model and technology platform
• Partner with the technology team members to identify innovation solutions to improve reporting performance
• Respond to enquiries and projects from management
• Interact with business partners on a regular basis to ensure data and reporting are accurate and fresh

Qualifications

• Third level / Masters level qualification
• Project management qualifications

Experience

• Practical experience in planning and managing multidisciplinary projects on a global scale
• Strong evidence of requirements gathering and solutions design in a rapidly changing environment. Experience in taking loose or ambiguously defined requirements through to solution design desirable
• Proven track record of successfully delivering innovative projects on a global scale, ideally involving new technologies or systems
• Proven experience of successfully retaining ownership of a product post implementation.
• Experience in the delivery of Business Intelligence projects and or direct experience of working in an analytics-focused environment would be extremely advantageous
• At least 5 years experience in project managing multidisciplinary teams, incorporating business, technical and IT development resources
• At least 3 years experience of direct management of resources including objective setting and monitoring, career development and general line management responsibilities
• Experience of dealing with senior management / executives on a regular basis
• Experience of working in a large multinational and operating across a number of geographies would be a distinct advantage
• Experience desirable in any of the following: SQL, Microsoft .NET, Oracle, Cognos, Microsoft Silverlight
• Previous experience in working in a start-up environment desired
• Prior consulting experience a plus
• Insurance knowledge a plus
