travel insurance: Israel

У меня такой вопрос по поводу страховки на поездку в Израиль.

мой имэйл к страховщику, который указывает, что в случае отмены поездки я смогу получить деньги за билеты и тд.

many thanks for your emails and provided information. I have taken all available information at hand and would like to seek your formal clarification in relation to that.

1. The policy indicates that cancellation [of the trip and all related activities] will not be covered if there is Foreign Office advise against the trip.

2. As of today, the 9th of January 2009, FCO does not advise against all travel to Israel, but limits this to the Gaza, West Bank and vicinity of the Gaza strip. (http://www.fco.gov.uk/en/travelling-...srael-occupied). I am planning to go to Jerusalem and as of now, there is no advise against such travel.

In the light of the two points above, I ask you to comment on these in order to enable me to progress with booking my holidays.

To clarify your points raised, the travel insurance will cover you, however, please be aware that should any claim arise as a direct result of the current situation in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories you will not be covered.
