Key Purpose of Job
Globoforce is seeking a Product Configuration Specialist to join the Implementations team within its IT department.

The main focus of the role will be on the implementation of new client sites and client change requests. In addition, there will be varied responsibilities across the areas of quality assurance and operational customer tasks such as data loading.

The role involves extensive use of SQL scripts and HTML files for configuring Globoforce's Enterprise Java software platform.

Main Responsibilities

• Acquire an in depth understanding of Globoforce's platform configuration options
• Implement new client sites on the Globoforce platform
• Implement change requests on existing client sites
• Assist in the execution of a variety of operational tasks owned by the Implementations team including the loading of customer data and verification of software deployments

Key skills / experience:

• 1-2 years IT industry experience, working with web-based software solutions
• Experience with HTML and SQL




Desirable

• Background in Quality Assurance
• Some experience with database and/or JSP technologies
• High attention to detail in their work
• Ability to balance conflicting priorities
• Experience of working with diverse teams (technical and non-technical)
• Strong customer focus and a clear vision of what determines a successful solution for the customer
• Skills in scheduling and problem solving
• Strong Documentation and Communication Skills
