Всем привет! Тут объявили, что аппликейшны принимают на эту выставку. Я хочу попробовать поднять клуб на участие в ней. В принципе наверное не обязательно быть членом клуба, чтобы участвовать в этой общей заявке.

Я уже на fb написал по-английски что нужно, мне сейчас не досуг на русский переводить, так что прошу меня простить. Вот:

Hi everybody. People Photography organising committee is now accepting applications for the 2013 exhibition which will take place on 24 and 25 August. Here is the URL: http://peoplesphotography.ie/?page_id=30

I am thinking of participating myself. They now have separate group application form. I will be ready to organise and submit one, but this time everybody who wants to participate should be more active and follow these simple steps:

1. Email me at karanagai@gmail.com with "Peoples Photography" in the subject before 16 June. Please no private messages in facebook, calls etc.

2. If you are taking less than full space (8 feet wide stretch of the Stephen's Green fence) you either have to find somebody to share it with or ask me if there is somebody. I will list only one responsible person for each space in the application

3. Meet me in the Dublin city centre before (or on) 19 June and handle me 25 euro per space as I am going to send a cheque with the application

4. Prepare your own prints by 24 August, which includes backboards/mounts/frames (whatever you decide to use) and be there with them on that date by 9-10am. I anybody wants to oranise a meeting in the club for preparation of prints, I could provide the cutters etc. But please let me know well in front, as I will not be in Dublin in the middle of August.

5. Think of the way to hang your prints without damaging the railings. And also consider what would you do in the case of heavy rain (e.g. bring large sheet of transparent plastic film - I have some, but it might not be enough for more than 3-4 spaces, I have to check it).

Don't hesitate to participate, this is great opportunity to print and show your work and also to socialise with other photographers.

If I don't get at least 4 spaces (including my own) reserved and paid by 20 June, I would suggest to make individual applications then. Although it would be really nice to exhibit as a club.

Much news to report.

Firstly, and most important.... we've moved our main domain website to
a .ie address and in the process have been able to lose that very
annoying little hyphen... So please go to www.peoplesphotography.ie
for all the latest news and information.

We've built a new website.. and it contains links to the application
form(s) for 2013. There are separate forms for individuals and
clubs/groups... but you'll figure all that out.
As usual... applications from previous exhibitors will get kid-glove
preference...

Be patient with us as we populate and get both the content and
technical bits of the website right. Feel free to tell us what/what's
not working

Secondly....., we really want to make the new website a lot more
interactive and collegiate.. To this end we have a number of
requests... (after, of course you've downloaded, filled in, and
submitted your application form for 2013)

We invite you to send in a little description of your work, and maybe
6 or 10 images. We'll put them all up in your very own post/gallery!!!
Note.. you don't have to be a past exhibitor to submit some pictures
for inclusion. and...there's more specific info on the website

Separately from the above ... we 'd also love to have any pictures
from previous exhibitions....

...who you're neighbours were!?
....how the light filtered Bailey-esque through the trees, all at
nominal ISO 200, f8, 1/250. !!!
....who's in the picture, whats happening... yada, yada, yada

...Anything submitted will be credited and added the gallery for that
year. Hey, there were ALWAYS a number of cameras about to capture the
people and fun.

In general we look also forward to bringing you more updates and info
as time goes on across the main website and the various platforms of
Twitter, Facebook et all...

.. and lets see those registrations for 2013 come rolling in!!! We 're
hoping to make the 2013 a very special year.

Get busy!!! , secure your place early, and get involved by sending in
those old pics you really thought nobody would ever be interested in.

да, конечно, клубом быть не обязательно. можно подать индивидуальные аппликейшны. что я и думаю сделать, если клубом не соберёмся.

просто клубом повеселее будет вместе-то и за работами друг друга можно поприглядывать

Ну как выставка прошла,кто нибудь поучаствовал?

По-моему из клуба никто не участвовал - не собрались.

Я там был в субботу. Выставка как-то с каждым годом меньше становится. Было несколько очень интересных ребят, но вцелом всё как обычно
