Собственно пару дней назад вышел субж.

Вот он: IMMIGRATION, RESIDENCE AND PROTECTION BILL 2010

Документ достаточно большой. Вот-бы к нему какой-нить changelog найти...

Что, супругам LTR теперь разрешают работать?

Page 55:
Where a long-term residence permission is granted to a
foreign national who meets the standard eligibility requirements or,
as the case may be, the eligibility requirements referred to in subsection
(1)(b), the foreign national shall be entitled, for so long as that
permission remains in force:

(b) along with his or her qualifying dependants, to enter
employment and to engage for gain in any business, trade
or profession in the State in the like manner and to the
like extent in all respects as an Irish citizen;

(c) along with his or her qualifying dependants, to receive,
upon and subject to the terms and conditions applicable
to Irish citizens, the same medical care and services and
the same social welfare benefits as those to which Irish
citizens are entitled;

(d) along with his or her qualifying dependants, to have access
to education and training in the State in accordance with
any relevant enactment or rule of law.

И еще не понял про последний пункт - какое это имеет отношение к высшему образованию?

Быть может, это про EU- или Irish- fees, вместо non-EU? Даже как-то не верится.

А еще на странице 56:

(ii) to the same rights of travel in or to or from the State
as those to which Irish citizens are entitled, subject
to the requirement under this Act to present himself
or herself to an immigration officer and to provide 5
that immigration officer with any information,
including a travel document, which the officer may
reasonably require for the purposes of his or her
functions;

Какое это имеет отношение к ре-энтри визам? Может и их уже не надо будет?

по поводу гринкард никаких изменений не внесено. все как и прежде

походу они сами не придумали еще че делать с грин картами. наверное будут продлевать каждый год штамп 4 пока 5 лет не наберется до ЛТР. вообще конечно все чисто по ирландски

Я письмо отписал, ответа пока нет. Но думаю если и будет, то какой-нить как от робота... Хотелось бы лично встретиться...

Нам Green Cardовцам, Скорее всего в Оireachtas нужно звонить и писать. Они принимают эти Bills. Почему ничего не упомянуто о гринкартовцах в обновлённом The Immigration, Residence and Protection Bill?

а только на десятой странице объяснения что это кидалово так как уже 3 года нифига не принили а в обновлённой версии этого Billa вообше всё убрали.

Лучше звонить. Правда август - "мертвый" месяц в этом плане. Да и еще интересный вопрос, сколько времени у них займет этот Билл имплимент

Забавный момент:

Visa-exempt foreign nationals.

15.—(1) The Minister may by order designate a foreign national
or a class or classes of foreign nationals as exempt from the require-
ment to have a visa.
(2) Without prejudice to the power of designation referred to in
subsection (1), factors by reference to which that power may be exercised
include:
(a) nationality;
(b) age;
(c) purpose of entry into and presence in the State;
(d) proposed duration of that presence;
(e) occupation;
(f) diplomatic status;
(g) immigration status (whether in the State or another state);
(h) any matters specified in subsection (2) or (4) of section 141;
(i) any combination of the factors referred to in paragraphs (a) to (h).

Т.е. министру дается право отменять визы используя практически любые критерии, т.е. как ему вздумается. Ре-ентри визы потому отдельно и не упоминаются - может решит министр отменить, а может и нет.
