Я тут случайно наткнулся на такой документик в инете. Вкратце - это результат проверки компании Skynet Airlines Ltd, которая была необходима для выдачи компании соответствующих разрешений на осуществление транспортировки пассажиров, почты и прочего между Ирландией и США. Так вот цитата оттуда:

Effective dates of authority granted: February 9, 2004 – February 9, 2005

Basis for approval: We found, based on the record, that Skynet, an Irish regional carrier, is operationally and financially qualified to undertake the proposed services, and properly licensed. We also found that Skynet is substantially owed and effectively controlled by Irish citizens. We found that reciprocity and our overall aviation relationship with Ireland is sufficient to warrant approval of the requested authority. By memorandum dated January 30, 2004, the FAA advised us that it knew of no reason why we should act unfavorably on Skynet’s application.

Т.е. из всего выходит, что проверка недавняя. Не могли ж они ТАК быстро вылететь в трубу...

Хотя вот Guardian говорит о SkyNet (вскользь правда) как о уже почившей компании:

Intense competition has already claimed several casualties: in Britain, Birmingham-based Duo and Leeds-based Planet Air have ceased trading this year. Three Irish airlines have gone bust - FlyJet, JetMagic and SkyNet.
