Positions:

1. Software Engineer: Back-end
   Position Summary:
   Software Engineer - back-end developer will be working on modern scalable cloud-based Web and mobile healthcare software solutions. This position requires strong server software development skills. The work will be done on the Scala/Akka platform on Linux and deployed to Amazon.
   
   Responsibilities:
   - Architect, plan, develop and maintain back-end software for healthcare systems.
   - Actively participate in software projects through the entire software development life-cycle, including requirements analysis, documentation, development, engineering testing and maintenance.
   - Collaborate with Product Development on product feature implementation.
   - Work closely with DevOps on software deployment and bug fixes.
   - Provide effective and consistent communication to peers and management about project tasks and bugs status.
   - Use most effective software tools and techniques.
   - Produce compelling and reasonably bug-free software.
   - Perform other similar or related duties as necessary.
   
   Qualifications:
   - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
   - Strong grasp of current server technologies and platforms.
   - Solid communication skills.
   - 5+ years of software development experience, with the emphasis on large scale server development.
   - General knowledge and experience with software architectures, components, patterns and frameworks.
   - Expert knowledge of Java server development.
   - Knowledge and experience with Scala and Akka.
   - Experience with Web development on any platform, Play preferred.
   - Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB or other relational and no-SQL databases.
   - Production-level experience with Linux-based hosted systems and clouds, Amazon preferred.
   - Experience with continuous integration, task and bug tracking software, and SCM (GitHub and git preferred).
   - Open source development contribution is a plus.

2. Software Engineer: Front-end
   
   Position Summary:
   Software Engineer - web developer works on the front-end of the cloud-based Web healthcare software solutions. This position requires strong web software development skills. The work includes new development on the Linux/Scala/Play platform using modern JavaScript libraries.
   
   Responsibilities:
   - Architect, plan, develop and maintain web software solutions for healthcare.
   - Actively participate in software projects through the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, documentation, development, engineering testing and maintenance.

   - Knowledge and understanding of Scala and Play or desire to learn them.
   - Significant experience with Web development on any platform, Rails preferred.
   - Some experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB or other relational and no-SQL databases.
   - Production-level experience with hosted systems and clouds, Amazon preferred.
   - Experience with SCM, task and bug tracking software, GitHub and git preferred.
   - Open source development contribution is a plus.
