Spain to welcome new EU workers

Spain will open its labour market to EU newcomers such as Poland
from May 1st, Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero said
today

This decision will greatly benefit Spanish companies and the
economy, as well as the eight Eastern European countries
concerned, Zapatero said after a bilateral summit with Polish
Prime Minister Kazimierz Marcinkiewicz.



Marcinkiewicz highlighted the "tremendous importance...of this
move for Poland...and its political symbolism" for his country and
the new EU members

Currently Ireland, Sweden and the United Kingdom are the only
countries who allow free access to their labour markets to the ten
new accession states.

месяца два назад Бизнес&Бастия писала, что с 1 мая 2006г можно будет работать в Испании, Португалии и Финляндии. Греция не упоминалась
