Ryanair launches new route to Kaunas

Ryanair today announced a new route from Dublin to Kaunas,
Lithuania's second largest city.

The new service - Ryanair's first from Ireland to Lithuania - will
start to on April 6 next year and will operate three times weekly.

Ryanair's Deputy CEO Michael Cawley said that he expects around
50,000 passengers to travel on the new service in the first year
of operation.

The news follows last weeks announcement that the Irish airline is
to commence flights from Dublin to Riga in Latvia and Lodz in
Poland
