My husband and I would like to find jobs in Ireland. How difficult is it to find a job in real estate idustry with american experience/education?

How different is Irish accent compared to British and American English?

Hello, I have absolutely no idea about the jobs in real estate industry - quite unusual, most of people coming here are rather programmers or nurses or students or mushroom-pickers or... refugees. I'd suggest looking through the job ad sites and see if it's kicking or not. The overall market is quite bad as in everywhere including the States, though the property prices are still quite high.

Well, it's different all right, but it's much closer to British and mainly it is okay.

Thanks, Dude ! I found a few web sites for job-seekers. How realistic is it to land a job in Ireland via the internet? What are the odds? I would love to hear stories about the real people (if any) who were fortunate to find jobs via the internet.

To be honest with you I didn't get my job over internet, though I know a couple of people who did, but... it was 2 years ago.
Now, I think, the market is so low that it is very hard to find a job even being here and attending interviews by yourself. So give it a go, but chances you'll find it soon are not very good methinks (and it surely also depends massively on your occupation/skills ).

Actually as I typed it I've recalled a friend of mine who came over from Canada a week ago and he's got a job same week in AOL Ireland. He didn't need a working visa though.
