Esli vashi deti ne podpodayut ne pod odnu iz nizheperechilennih kategorii, platit' za visshee obrazovanie pridet'sya kak neevropeitsu EU APPLICANTS * An EU applicant is a person: (a) who is permanently resident in the EU and who will have received full-time post primary education in the EU for three of the five years immediately preceding admission OR (b) who is permanently resident in the EU and who will have worked full-time in the EU for three years immediately preceding admission OR (c) who holds a passport from an EU state and who has received all his/her full-time post primary education within in the EU OR (d) who holds a passport from an EU state and has received full-time post primary education in the EU for three of the five years immediately preceding admission OR (e) who has official refugee status or has been granted humanitarian leave to remain in the State and has been resident in the EU for three years immediately preceding admission. Note ‘EU’ includes the ten countries that signed the Treaty of Accession in 2003 and will join the EU in May 2004. ‘Immediately preceding admission’ refers to the three-year period October 2001 – October 2004 and to the five-year period October 1999 – October 2004 as appropriate. Applications from children of EU Government officials living abroad are treated as EU applications. All other applications are considered to be non-EU applications (see page 20 for further information). A student’s registered status (EU/non-EU) cannot be changed during a programme for which he/she is registered. * The definition of an EU applicant is currently under review. Applicants are advised to consult the website for up-to-date information.
